The absence of fire flies upsets him. One of the tiny pleasures of his life is to be there, just there, by the window from which the once bright blue paint is peeling off and the iron rails are in derelict state, and stare into the outside world. He once ran and swam and jumped. He still do, but they don’t count to others. He loves to watch the fireflies as they steal the show from Caesar, his otherwise companion…
