Don’t Look The World in The Eye

Don’t look the world in the eye

It is like medusa petrifying gaze

like those who locks eyes with a dragon die

Fried beneath its rays of fiery blaze

Even the brave matador doesnt look at the bull’s eyes

Unless he wishes for the end of his days

Follow the floor, for your sight might threaten or chastise

The white of the eyes are for those who wish to guise

Flirting stares are not for love or affection

But for judgement so rarely leading to a connection

The organ of perfection

Is not for the wandering glance

So never look the world in the eye
