First and foremost, I would like to apologize. We have been awol for such a long time. The New North (as now just ‘New North’) is a publication I started to share and experience works of poetry and prose, flash fiction, and fiction to the wider audience, but due to challenges and setbacks the rate at which we maintained the community and worked in this direction changed. We saw posts slowing down and even less writers flocking to the site. I personally feel I should apologize and hope you will join me in this new journey as we kick things back to where they used to be.

New writer submissions are now open for everyone, and new stories will be reviewed as per previous schedule. It may take a second or two for new submissions to come through, or writers to be added, but rest assured anyone who wishes to publish with us will be attended to. You can find the link to the submissions page here: submissions

We have also redesigned the publication with the new Medium templates. The logo has been refreshed and that includes the branding for our weekly newsletter.

I sincerely hope with the changes and new outlook we can continue with the dream to become the premiere publication of fiction and poetry . It’s something we ever-so-persistently worked for and believe can achieved.

Hope you bring the best and wonderful worlds back to our humble home.

With thanks,

New North team (ZC^)
