Hollywood Capitalizes on Las Vegas Tragedy, Urges Gun Owners to not support SHARE Act and stop Concealed Carrying.

Hollywood celebs are telling us to “shun the NRA” and stop carrying weapons. The left is always quick to capitalize on a tragedy, and they never let a good tragedy go to waste.

Emma Stone, Melissa McCarthy, Sheryl Crow, Adam Scott, and more, are telling us they know what’s best for America. What’s best for America in their eyes, is no NRA, and no concealed carry.

They are telling us to contact our representatives and tell them to enact more “gun safety” laws. Well boy, I wonder what could be qualified as gun safety laws.

Well us gun owners know differently. We know that law abiding citizens with guns prevent crime in many instances.

According to the NRA-ILA:

• Even though nationwide gun ownership is at an all time high, the Nationwide violent crime rate has hit a 44 year low. The murder rate nationwide is at an ALL TIME low as well.
• As violent crime rates have gone down, the number of Right to Carry (RTC) States have gone up. There are now 42 RTC States
• 13 million citizens have permits for carry. Statistically permit carriers are the most law-abiding citizens in the nation.
• All while violent crime has decreased, many gun restrictions have been rolled back on both the state and federal level.
• A survey of felons by the federal gov’t found that 40% of felons surveyed had not committed a crime or multiple crimes because they feared that their potential victims were armed with a firearm. 34% of surveyed felons had been run off, shot at, wounded, or captured by an armed victim.

40% didn’t commit a crime because they were scared of gun carriers, and 34% were stopped in some way by an armed victim. That’s a lot of crime prevention. This is something that is backed up by statistics, feel free to go through the sources provided by the NRA-ILA.

This just goes to prove that the leftist myth that more gun owners doesn’t equal less crime is patently false. Gun owners know this already, many of us have anecdotal experience with this stuff, or we have heard many stories from friends, family, etc.

So us gun owners know better than to trust these lefty Hollywood liberals who think they know what’s best for America. They don’t know what’s best for America, they only repeat what they are told to say. They are drinking the leftist produced koolaid, and we are wise enough to recognize what is true and what is false.
