The Problem with Atheists, They Worship The State.

A Picture of Josef Stalin

Just to be clear to the readers, I would like to express my situation of belief in God. I was raised Russian Orthodox, I am not Orthodox anymore. I classify myself as an Agnostic Christian. The reasoning behind that is because I don’t claim to directly have proof or knowledge on whether or not Christianity is true, but I do still believe that Christ was real. I believe he is the son of God, and I look to many of his teachings as the ideal way to go about my life. Being an Agnostic, as well as being non-denominational, gives me a better way to follow the bible personally. Some people don’t like that, others do. It is all up to the individual in how they want to believe-worship, or not believe-worship.

Something that I have come across time and time again during my years of talking to a myriad of people on the internet and in real life, is the obdurateness of people’s beliefs. To clear the water, I do not look to debate non-Christians, or Christians for that matter. I think that the people who go out of their way to debate people on theology, or the lack of theology regarding the existence or non-existence of a God, or multiple, is foolish. People don’t typically change their beliefs based on what somebody else says to them regarding topics. The one thing that almost always is the cause of people changing their beliefs is their own personal experiences. I think that the people who constantly look to get into arguments or debates, are immature, and they need to find more productive things to do with their time. Having conversations is not a problem, just the people that incessantly argue with other people about their beliefs are a problem.

With that being said, much of the time, I will hear atheists and Christians debating on the existence of God. Much of the time, both sides of the argument are stuck in their impenetrable bubbles of belief. They are too busy arguing with each other, to listen to each other. This is why I make the distinction between an adult conversation, and an argument.

Another problem with Atheists, is they try to base their position off of logic, or they advertise that their position is based off of logic. While doing that, they are also too obstinate to realize their belief there is no God, is illogical. The same can be said with many Christians that argue with atheists. I hold the belief that most Christians don’t have an illogical belief in God. I think that most of them simply believe. Many Christians do not want to get into debates with atheists because those arguments are not productive. Same reason I don’t constantly argue with atheists.

The biggest problem I have with Atheists though, is they may not believe in a traditional God, but they still do believe in God. That God being the almighty overbearing State. The vast majority of atheists believe that the state is the answer for a godless society. In fact in every instance of large communist regimes being implemented, the government advocates atheism while making worship illegal. Such was the case in the USSR, and Mao’s China. The reason for this being that Communism itself as an ideology is anti-theist. Marx had expressed many viewpoints in which he vehemently argued against the existence of a Church, and the existence of a God. Even Nazi Germany had implemented state-sponsored atheism.

Atheists today haven’t changed from the past, they still believe in socialism and communism. They advocate for the overbearing state. Very few atheists you would ever meet, are fans of small government. This is the essence of atheism, they don’t believe in the societal values of a Christian nation. Christian values are in direct opposition to much of the values expressed by atheists. Hence why most Christians you talk to, are Capitalist, or they sponsor less government regulation on the economy. Reason being for this is because Jesus taught his disciples to not steal from another person, even if they are less fortunate than the other person.

Hence why you see so many atheists or anti-Christian politicians in the government. The government officials recognize that Christianity argues against forced taxation, because it is antithetical to Christian values. This is the biggest reason that religion tends to get abolished by socialist and communist governments, is because it doesn’t agree with mass taxation.

Anyways, I think I expressed my point adequately, so with that being said, have a good day and thanks for reading.
