A Weekend of Pool Baes, Pop-ups, and Purple
A Bae Watch pool party, female power at Artists & Fleas, and Taiwan goes purple
Bae Watch
Calling all baes, House of Yes is throwing a pool party on Sunday. They’re setting up an inflatable pool in the courtyard for one day only ,so come over to get soaked, buzzed, and sunkissed.
It’s like the old days of paddling around with arm inflatables in your parents’ backyard, but with real life guards, DJs, and a photo booth. Like all HOY events, come dressed in your themed best. Maybe you’ll meet the Michael Phelps to your Baywatch-era Pam Anderson.

Taiwan Purple
There’s a Taiwanese newcomer in the East Village, and it’s decked out in shades of Tinky Winky. 886 is a must-visit if you’re a sucker for Taiwanese bites and the color purple.
Make sure to order Sausage Party (pork sausages wrapped in sticky rice) and their modern take on the fried chicken sandwich from McDonald’s Taiwan.
