Arts & Carbs, What More Could You Ask For?
Fill your creative and hungry sides this weekend
Happy Friday! It’s that time of the week again, when you’re torn between actually going out and staying safe in your blanket burrito. We know that struggle all too well. But here are new things worth leaving the house for.
Go See the Next Warhols & Hoppers
Sotheby’s is throwing the first art show of its kind—AD ART Show — that exhibits the new generation of artists from advertising, possibly the next Warhols, Hoppers, and Magrittes. It already started on Thursday, but you’ve got until Sunday afternoon to discover new art you’ll want to take home immediately. Who knows, maybe you’ll realize you’ve been stifling creative dreams of yours.
Free General Admission: Feb 23 — 10am to 5pm, Feb 24 — 1pm to 5pm

Carbo-load
Carb alert! One of the most popular bakeries — Bake Culture — in Taiwan has touched down on Bowery and opens to the public this Sunday.
The RSVP period for the opening party already ended, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a taste. Make your way over after 1 pm when the lucky ones are done getting free pastries and meeting Taiwanese celebrity guests.
