Drop Everything — We’re Giving Away Free Tickets to the Global Citizen Festival
Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Demi Lovato, Metallica… THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!
This Saturday, Central Park is hosting the fifth annual Global Citizen Festival and, somehow, the lineup is better than ever. How do you outdo Queen Bey? You get Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna to headline, that’s how.
How can you go? Well we’ve got some really, really cool news: we’ve got six tickets that we’re giving away for free. The rules are simple: as of right now, two tickets will be located at each of our stores — Union Square Subway Station, Brookfield Place, and TurnStyle at Columbus Circle. If you get there first, you get the tickets. Easy as that.
Run, bike, parachute, whatever your mode of transport, get there quick, because you do not want to miss this insane lineup: along with the two hip-hop legends mentioned above, you’ll get to see Demi Lovato, Major Lazer, and Metallica… Metallica!
As if that’s not enough hype, the Global Citizen Festival will be hosted by big names like Chelsea Handler, Salma Hayek, Seth Meyers, and will feature “special appearances” by Eddie Vedder, Usher, Ellie Goulding, Yandel, Chris Martin, and Yusuf / Cat Stevens.
Someone hold us, we can’t take this excitement.
It might be too late to earn tickets for tomorrow’s festival, but it’s definitely worth mentioning how you can get a head start on next year’s, or any of the other amazing rewards provided by Global Citizen all year long — tickets to major comedy shows, concerts, even the Roots Picnic in NYC on October 1st.
You can’t buy these rewards; instead, you have to earn points by tangibly taking action to resolve critical issues around the world via the Global Citizen website or app. Issues like eliminating global poverty, tackling the refugee crisis, providing education for isolated communities, putting an end to curable diseases, and so much more. Whatever your cause, Global Citizen has a way for you to help.
So what are you still reading this for? Come get these tickets then go out and do some good!
