This Weekend, Stuff Your Face With the Flavors of the Bronx and Peru
Start off at the first-ever Bronx Night Market then make your way to Llama Inn’s new, casual spin-off
Bronx Night Market
Joining the ranks of Brooklyn Night Market and the Queens Night Market, the Bronx just got its first-ever food festival. And it officially kicks off this Saturday with over 40 vendors including City Tamale, Empanology, Tripla Panna Ice Cream, and MP Fish Fry & Soul. Pull up to enjoy the best food, art, and music that the borough is ready to show off.
Most of the food is priced in the $3, $5 and $7 range, so your 20 bucks will get you stuffed in no time. Entrance is free, so come hungry and ready to make it rain.
Can’t make it this weekend? No problem, homie. The Night Market will be held on the last Saturday of each month through October.

Llamita
Williamsburg’s Peruvian godsend Llama Inn just opened a sandwich shop in the East Village. Like its mother restaurant, Llamita will be serving up sandwiches with similar Peruvian flavors. Don’t skip out on the duck sausage sandwich with Peruvian corn and chimichurri or the pork shoulder with sweet potato, salsa criolla (a lime and onion salsa), and rocoto crema (a spicy red pepper sauce). Go ahead and order the popular rotisserie chicken too.
If you’re giving up bread and going extra health-conscious this weekend, they also have an array of smoothies with ingredients like La Florida coffee, maca, and camu camu.
