Yes, 5–0 is still here, doing nothing
So the fed boys are still here. The coppers. Five — 0! Like “Book ’em” Dano from the original Hawaii 5–0. Da poleece! Po Po. Da man. “Pigs,” as the late Huey Newton liked to say back in the day.
Yet, though they have been here for about three months now, I have not seen much of them. I rarely see them. I almost never see them uptown in the neighborhoods or east of the river in the neighborhoods of the city. They do not as is said, want that smoke.
The fed boys and the troops are avoiding the communities where there is perhaps a need. The National Guard troops are picking up trash and raking leaves (see below). The fed cops are harassing weed smokers.
The whole thing is for show. It is a sham. It is a precursor to turn the country into a militarized state under martial law. This is a test.
Flood the city with the FBI, DEA, ICE and National Guard troops, cherry pick images for frequent rotation on far right propaganda media outlets, and BOOM — it looks like the President is saving the city of Washington DC, the city of my birth, from itself. It is such bullshit.
We need to be saved from this Congress and this authoritarian regime. This is an atrocity.
