Entrepreneurship is not owned by the business school, it should be across campus and the community. It should also not be limited to the idea of launching a business and making money. It can include innovation and creativity as well.

That’s why I’m excited to put out a call for Faculty Fellows to integrate innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship into their courses and research. I call them NICE Fellows, for NDSU Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship. Apply here.

The first cohort of NICE Fellows will meet monthly for one year to share ideas on how to integrate ICE into their courses. They will also attend a conference with students who are exploring the same topic.

As a part of their fellowship, they will receive funding for course development, a cohort of fellow learners and a platform to showcase their work.

The first cohort will help shape the program and identify the best ways to integrate ICE and connect campus with the community.

If you sound like a NICE fellow, I hope you apply or share the opportunity with someone you know. Applications are due March 8th.
