As part of the weekend of events commemorating the killing of Michael Brown and the unprecedented uprising that followed, Dr. Cornel West will lift up the ongoing struggle for racial justice, and examine the role of the Church and the faith community in the broad resistance to state violence.

This conversation between local and national thinkers, activists and religious leaders will engage critical questions of spirituality, justice and the way forward for a Black church of liberation.
