Is it wrong to tell/preach to mourning family members the reality of hell right after a loved one has passed away? Is it ok to use harsh language, or does the Bible command us to be more gentle?

In the garden, was Jesus afraid of what was coming? If so, would that fear be sin since “anything done without faith is sin” and “perfect love casts out all fear”?
