The wait for THEOS to operate a multichain protocol is over. We’re happy to announce our platform is live on the Ethereum Mainnet.

The Ethereum network is one of the world’s most popular and widely employed blockchain networks; it’s used to create applications from decentralized finance (DeFi) to gaming. After the long-awaited Ethereum Merge and continuous feedback from our community, we’re happy to announce our platform is now open to fully operate on top of the Ethereum Mainnet as well as the Polygon Mainnet.

TL;DR

  • THEOS now runs on the Ethereum Network
  • Users can select which blockchain to operate on when interacting with each of THEOS’s features.
  • Users must make sure their wallet connection runs on the blockchain they’d like to operate on.

Ethereum’s impact on THEOS Network:

Providing compatibility for our users to operate on the Ethereum blockchain impacts the user flows within our network. Let’s explore what that looks like:

Disclaimer: Now that THEOS is multichain –Polygon Mainnet and Main Ethereum Network– users are responsible for selecting the correct network whenever participating in the following activities.

Nav Bar Open Wallet:

Remember that when you´ve connected your wallet, you can always check what Network you´re on at the Navbar. Click on the upper right corner on the symbols next to the THEOS logo to see your balance.

Marketplace:

Whenever you head to the THEOS marketplace, you’ll find a “filters” option next to the search bar. New filters now include the option to separate NFTs running on the Main Ethereum Network or the Polygon Mainnet, status, and more media.

Profile:

Find the new filters applied to the marketplace in your profile too. Know that the NFTs exposed are usually those currently running on the blockchain your wallet is logged on to.

We have amplified the sorting feature to account for different blockchain networks, so make sure to give it a go to avoid using/buying NFTs on other chains.

Minting:

Minting on THEOS now has the option to create NFTs and allocate them over the Main Ethereum Network. Once minted, the NFT detail will show what network it’s on and a chain logo (representing either Polygon or Ethereum) in the top right corner of the NFT.

Gift NFT:

Now that THEOS runs on Ethereum, NFT holders can gift NFTs over the Main Ethereum Network right from the NFT detail. Here, users can find the gift button beside the NFT tags; clicking on it will prompt them to enter the address they’d like to gift the NFT.
Once that’s done, a simple sign-off from the user’s wallet, and voilà! the gift is on its way.

The Gift NFT feature is one of our latest releases; if you still haven’t tried it, head over to THEOS and click on the Gift button beside your NFT detail tags.

Home:

Users that aren’t signed on must select the network they prefer to run THEOS on. When launching the app, users now have the option to switch between networks once signing in.

Listing on Ethereum:

Remember, you can list NFTs right after minting or do so straight from your NFTs on hold. Once you´ve chosen which NFT you´d like to list, double-check the chain it’s hosted on.

Remember that to list on THEOS, you either set a fixed price or create a timed auction, and if the chosen NFT is submitted to a pool, listing at THEOS´s marketplace means your NFT will be removed from the pool it belonged to. Unlisting is also now extended to operate over the Ethereum network,

Buying flow:

Users keener to purchasing Ethereum NFTs are now more than welcome to find all Ethereum native collectibles on THEOS.

Submit:

Unlike prior NFT pool-submitting, now THEOS will host Ethereum-held Pools, which means users now have the option to submit NFTs not only to Polygon-run pools like Genesis, but to Ethereum Odyssey Pools too.

(More on this note coming soon!)

NFT detail:

Now NFTs on THEOS will specify what chain they´re currently on. Find the chain icon at the upper right corner of your NFTs or head back to your NFTs Detail and learn what blockchain they’ve been minted on under the “Minted on” subtitle.

Moving Forward:

We’re happy to share this step forward of the THEOS protocol with our community, and we’d like them to know that we’re well aware there’s always room for improvement. Our communication channels are open for our community to provide us with feedback on the experience andsuggest potential improvements. There’s still much to look forward to, but this is a major step to expanding our DeFi paradise into welcoming even more DeFi communities.

About THEOS: The THEOS ecosystem is managed and sustained by our Association, a team of both traditional finance and blockchain virtuosos. We envision a new way of thinking, minting, and trading NFTs, and have developed what we believe is going to become the next-generation community-governed NFT platform. THEOS is a multichain NFT platform operating on the Ethereum and Polygon blockchains.
