We don’t want to see

Well stated, @augustkhalilibrahim, while the majority of the people in this country are appalled and disgusted with Trump’s shenanigans, I sense a profound fear of looking this befuddled monster in the face. We’re distracted by his antics and crude efforts at hiding the obvious because we desperately want to be distracted. And so the antics work but only for América. He made a fool out of himself in front of president Xi Jinping and put on a show with Assad and Putin to distract from his entanglements in Russia and only the US media went along. Except for everyone desperately trying to not look. Fortunately it is easy, in this country, to not know about the humor and mockery in the Chinese and world media. We don’t want to see the vicious vindictiveness and don’t want to think about what people like that do when they are mocked and laughed at day after day. He is already making us pay. And everyone else on the planet will pay and it’s our responsibility.
