Her work focuses on state violence and it includes investigation on miners exploitation in China, hidden homelessness in the UK, and police violence against refugees. She is the founder of the Hate Hurts project and the Photojournalism Hub.

Crystal MwangiStudent journalist and freelance writer from Nairobi/Kenya. News Editor of Daystar University’s independent online newspaper Daystar Oracle. Interested in culture and the arts; namely fashion, music, and literature.
