Donald Trump lies about everything. In fact he lies so often it makes me wonder whether or not he in fact knows what the truth is. I honestly question if he is mentally stable enough to understand reality.

In my head the question goes like this, “Either he knows what he is saying is false and he has no morals whatsoever and everyone who says they believe him are playing along or he and everyone who believes him is so stupid that they don’t remember he is lying.”

There are no two sides to this debate. There is no grey area. Donald Trump is a liar.

Overview of the Lies

The fact that Trump is a liar is not debatable.

From the utterly ridiculous lies that President Obama and Hillary Clinton founded ISIS or Ted Cruz’s father knew Lee Harvey Oswald to the absurd lies that Mexico will pay for a wall along the Southern border or supporting the anti Vaccine movement, Donald Trump is a liar.

Everyone from his own lawyers who stated in a legal deposition that they would only meet in pairs so that he could not lie or fellow GOP heavyweight Ted Cruz who said on camera, “(Trump) lies practically every word that comes out of his mouth.”

Donald lies so much while writing this piece I had a hard time choosing which ones to focus on. Overall according to PolitiFact.com, Trump lies more than he tells the truth. 33% of his statements are false, and another 18% are rated as “Pants on Fire.” (Think all Mexico is sending us are rapists type statements or saying there are millions of illegal immigrants voting) A disturbing 69% of what the next President of the United States says is untrue.

69% of what the next President of the United States says is untrue.

So I have decided to categorize these lies into three categories choosing a few examples for each; his lies about his appearance and wealth, political lies, and suspected lies.

Lies about Appearance and Wealth

Note the marks around his eyes from where goggles are worn during artificial tanning

Donald Trump comes from the world of reality television which is notorious for faking reality at every turn. It is like WWE, another program Trump has appeared on, because everything is fake. It is no wonder that coming these experiences Trump feels entitled to make up his own world as he goes. And this false reality starts with his personal appearance.

Donald’s skin color and hair are fake. His skin is obviously spray tanned. Gawker ran an excellent piece about how about how Trump’s hair is in fact an elaborate wig created by French inventor Edward Ivari stating
“microcylinders would certainly explain how a 69-year-old man could grow hair with the capacity to effectively wrap itself around the circumference of his head several times over.”

Ivari Patent

Trump claims to be personally worth ‘“in excess of TEN BILLION DOLLARS.”’ No one truthful makes that claim about him. According to Rolling Stone the “Federal Election Commission disclosure form filed by Trump’s campaign offers a somewhat more conservative estimate of $8.7 billion, while Forbes pegs his fortune at more like $4.5 billion.”

Donald says he is a great businessman but in reality his businesses are failures. He still manages to profit, but everyone else involved suffers. According to Warren Buffet, “In 1995 when he offered [Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts], if a monkey had thrown a dart at the stock page [of a newspaper], the monkey on average would’ve made a 150%. But the people who believed in him, who listened to his siren song, came away losing over 90 cents on the dollar. They got back less than a dime.” This is but one of dozens of businesses that failed to be profitable for anyone but Trump. Donald received “$44 million in compensation during that period.” This is the same man who is now responsible for all of our well being, just like with those investors, and we can logically prove that his hair is fake.

Political Lies

Trump hiding behind the flag

Donald Trump lied so many times during the campaign it is truly horrifying. Even scarier is how his supporters continue to believe him, even after his lies are brought to light.

Politico magazine made a list called 15 Trump Flip-Flops in 15 Days, but these are not flip flops, these are lies. He lies about critical issues like Health Care, Border Control, freedom of speech, gay marriage, the electoral college, and almost every other issue.

One of the most insane lies Trump parroted involved President Obama. This was, of course, when he said that the President was not born in the United States. These lies, called the Birther Movement, were partially led by Donald Trump. Then during the election in 2016 Trump lied again saying that “Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy. I finished it.” Donald Trump lied about a lie, which we have video evidence of.

On July 27th, 2016 Trump said “I think President Obama has been the most ignorant president in our history,” and then on November 10th, 2016 he said “I have great respect… I very much look forward to dealing with the President in the future.” Donald Trump is lying.

Suspected Lies

Trump and Putin

The scariest lies Donald Trump tells, the ones we cannot yet confirm, have implications for the entire nation. If you trust our intelligence agencies, it is without question that Russia worked to influence the election in Donald Trumps favor by hacking into the Clinton Campaign. Some reports indicate that the Trump Campaign colluded and conspired with Russia to do these things.

Multiple reports, including one compiled by a high level British spy, allege that this is because Russia has the ability to blackmail Donald Trump with videos of sexual acts in hotels. The spy who the report called the findings “”hair-raising” according to Mother Jones. This includes a quote from the BBC that “the CIA believes it is credible that the Kremlin has such kompromat — or compromising material — on the next US commander in chief.”

The Truth

The truth in all of this is that Donald Trump is a lie, from his combover to his business success (or better said business failure). Every piece of his image, every aspect we know of him is false. This is unprecedented in American history.

The bravery required to stand up for what is right, and the power that it has

In Libya, after the 2012 Terrorist Attacks in Benghazi, the Libyan people rose up and forcibly disarmed the militias there. Protestors stood against armed Jihadis, braving gun fire to avenge the memory of Ambassador Chris Stevens. They did not have guns, they did not use massive amounts of violence, but they did risk their lives.

Libyans protesting militias

In 1991, after the fall of the Soviet hard line, communist officials attempted a coup to reinstate communism in Russia. To defend their newly formed Republic, President Boris Yeltsin called for protests and the people of Russia responded. They took to the streets and prevented the plotters from succeeding.

Russian protestors blocking tanks

Let me be blunt. Every single one of us is a coward. If we were brave, we would be standing up to Donald Trump right now. Every single American would march on Washington DC and block him from the presidency with our bodies. During the next four years, our actions as a people will determine the future of our nation, and the world.

If we do not stand up to Donald Trump now, someday a naive child in a classroom will ask her teacher, “Why didn’t the Americans stand up to Trump?” and the teacher will look down and smile at the child’s innocence and respond, “Because they didn’t know what he would do.”
