While Bored Apes, Cryptopunks, and the price of Bitcoin, ETH, and other “Tier 1” cryptocurrencies regularly dominate the crypto and mainstream media news cycles, there is another equally important topic that is powering the industry. This topic, out in plain sight but not deeply considered by the casual Web3 participant — is the area of blockchain data.

Like everything else in Web3 during these past few years, blockchain data has been exploding. Not only with legacy chains like Bitcoin and Ethereum (which has now crossed the terabyte size), but also with newer blockchains which are taking off (Layer 2 blockchains), as well as the data that is stored in other Web3 services which are commonly used by the community (e.g. data from decentralized exchanges, games, and otherwise).

Similar to the data which is regularly collected in the Web2 world (think Google, YouTube, Twitter, and others), the information and the potential insights to be gleaned from such details is significant. There is big business to be had around those companies and tools which are able to distill blockchain data into a form that is able to be analyzed by the end user.

Simple Concept — Challenging Execution
