I remember the first time I went ice-skating.

This was back around 2007. I put on a pair of ice skates that were just a little too tight, waddled around on land, and then stepped onto the ice.

It was terrifying. I felt like I was always at risk for falling. And I hugged the sides of the rink, petrified by the thought of letting go.
