The Days were long but the Year was short!

Do you ever go through nostalgia around christmas and new year’s? I do. Every year. This is when I look back and reconcile with the power of decision-making, and mostly sulk because I have misused the power the whole year. Not this time though.

I promised myself I will visit twice a month to a new place — I outran myself.

Here is a post about 25 different places in India. Also, 60 days of travel and 6 KGs of weight gain later, digging right into “Places you can visit staying in Bangalore in 1 year on a decent budget”:

28 hours spent flying — that’s how long 4 Seasons of FRIENDS are.

Last year was an adventure — something I never anticipated.

Here is what I learnt:

  1. The Days are long but the year short:
Every day felt long but when I look back now, the year seems to have gone by in a flash.
  2. Believe in yourself:
If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will.
  3. All my life I have believed in one thing profoundly:
Everything has to fall in place.

This year, my beliefs changed:

You have to make “some” effort to make everything fall in place.
