Cathy Gayner has spent 50 summers in a small village in the south west of France, where she prepares delicious meals in an idyllic farmhouse kitchen. Recipes from Le Rouzet: An English Cook in France is her hymn to this charming place, a collection of 125 recipes that she’s made with love feeding her family and friends who are lucky enough to have visited this most special part of the world.

As a co-founder of Age Unlimited, a charity that supports both the elderly and the marginalized young, she was determined to raise money despite being in lockdown and unable to host fundraising events. After a nudge from her nephew, a trustee of the charity, she wrote the cookbook celebrating her favorite and most popular recipes with 100% of the proceeds from the book going directly to help people who have been most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
