The River Flow!
What is River?
River is a startup emerging from dorm rooms of IITK with an aim to evolve the way the world saves and spends!
As we say, “ Save simple, Spend smarter!”
Who will benefit?
Everyone!
What do you mean by everyone?
i.e. both the consumers as well as merchants/ businesses/ entrepreneurs
But, how?
Well.. “ By seamlessly connecting vendors/merchants to customers through our app, we make financial goals (big/small) more accessible, opening up more possibilities for customers and more businesses for the service providers/vendors.”
That sounds great!, but will you please elaborate?
The above is the crux of: Growth model at Consumer’s End and Revenue model at Merchant’s end.
The consumer will get to simplify his/her life by tracking his/her spends, making financial goals and the merchant will help him/her achieve it through *offers*.The merchants will benefit as the lead generated by us will be genuine, thus allowing them to acquire customers at a much cheaper rate compared to conventional methods.
Also since we know customer’s general spending behaviour, data analysis and ML algorithms will help us provide users with customisable offers which will have higher chances of being redeemed!
In short, River will give everyone, an opportunity to “live the life they always wanted to live!”
Cool! This sounds like, Fitbit for Financial Goals!
That seems like a simpler explanation, I will use it to explain River from next time, thanks :)
One last question, Is this ready, because I definitely need this and I need this now!!
