Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by stretch marks/scars on your belly, thighs, hips etc..

I’ve got some good news… This can help you!

Stretch marks occur when the skin is stretched beyond the limits of its elasticity; due to pregnancy, or rapid weight gain. The oils that I used in this recipe help to regenerate skin, improve elasticity, and repair scarring.

What you’ll need for this recipe:

  • Rosehip oil
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Sunflower oil
  • Frankincense
  • Lavender
  • 1x 1oz roller bottle

Rosehip oil is gentle enough to be applied to your skin by itself. It delivers fatty acids and Vitamin C to the skin. The fatty acids convert into prostaglandins once they are absorbed into the skin which stimulate your skin’s regenerative powers to heal scars and protect against stretch marks.

Aloe vera gel is very moisturizing and contains high levels of nutrients beneficial for the skin.

Sunflower oil contains Vitamin E - a natural element that can reverse stretch marks and stop them from happening.

Frankincense promotes regrowth of tissues to help fade stretch marks, regenerative.

Lavender is good for scarring.

I am going to make this blend a 3% concentration, because it is a specific area you are targeting.

If you are pregnant only use a 1% blend and do not use Frankincense.

1%= 6 drops per 1oz bottle

2%= 12 drops per 1oz bottle

3%= 18 drops per 1oz bottle

(I usually eyeball this) In a 1 0z roller bottle, fill it with about 10% rosehip oil*, 20% aloe vera gel, 10 drops of frankincense, 8 drops of lavender, then filled the rest with safflower oil. Then give it a good shake.

Apply to affected areas two to three times a day and massage in a counter clock wise motion.

Voilà.

*In a body oil, you should only use a 25% rosehip oil maximum.
