🌿17🌿 Ideas Development 12 — Design the Prototype 4.0 and Final Presentation

At the end of this semester, we need to develop the 4.0 prototype and do the final presentation.

Finally, I am sure about my topic, my hypothesis, problem space, and possible solution.

Let’s have a look.

Problem Statement

How might we protect online privacy on social media?

Hypothesis

I believe people can protect themselves if they know their privacy will be stolen in which ways.

So if PRIVATEHOOD could help users check if they leaked sensitive info, they will have a safer sharing environment.

User Steps

In order to provide a solution that could help users check their content, I divided the user flow, and want to find the weakness and pinpoints to create thoughtful solutions.

We could tell the editing part and the reviewing part are the perfect timing to help users.

Hence, based on these thoughts, here is my prototype.

#Feature 1 — check and AI modify the photos users want to share

#Feature 2 — check the recent posts and generate a privacy report to empower them to pay attention to online privacy

This is a fabulous topic. I am really into your problem space. I am wondering how you could let more audience feel this problem. Because lots of users maybe don't face this situation a lot.

Eric:

It’s really important to let the audience feel the serious and bad situation as you do. Otherwise, it will be hard to let them empathize with the problem.

And you need to choose one user step to focus on. 2 parts will affect the main purpose. Think more about the user journey and do more tests.
