In Search of Love

On the ridges of shimmering ocean..
Wandered curious soul..
Wondering what selfless love is..
She stopped few people..
Asking where she can find it..
Some pointed at stars..
While some pointed distant horizon..

She sat on the beach..
Still not sure if this was all the answers..
Spoke her heart out to listening ears..
They saw her in glee..
And wondered how to make this lost soul happy..

But just before she gave up on her search..
She felt sparkles of love on her cheek..
Smile spread across her face like rainbow..
Overwhelmed with the emotion she exclaimed..
it’s here! it’s here! Not in any distant stars! not in any endless ocean!
And There She was searching in Far fetched land.. where hardly anyone heard!
