STRIPES Micro Chapbook Series
STRIPES Magazine Micro-chapbook/Chapbook series is open for submission year round. We are seeking to publish thematically linked micro-collections.
Send in Poetry, Fiction, mixed collections of poetry and prose, personal stories and art. You may include less than 3 already published pieces, given you have publishing rights to them.
POETRY:
Submit 10-15 thematically linked poems. We want poems under 30 lines.
FICTION:
Submit 8-10 thematically linked flash fiction pieces. We want a word count of 500-750 words.
ESSAYS/PERSONAL STORIES:
Submit 8-10 thematically linked essays or personal stories. We want a word count of 500-750 words.
MIXED COLLECTIONS/PHOTOGRAPHY
We love variety and will be delighted to receive a blended work of poetry and prose with (or without) photography. Send in 10-15 pieces.
Guidelines
- Keep your submissions at 12–20 pages.
- Send your submissions in one file: .doc or .docx format. First page of document should be title of the collection and your name (Pseudonym if applicable). Last document should be your Acknowledgment, dedication or Author note (Pick one option).
- Send along your 100 word author bio in the body of your mail including social media links, and an attached author headshot in JPGEG format to thestripesmag@yahoo.com:

*** Please do not send us a pdf document. We do not accept work that promotes hate. We do not also accept explicit or erotica themed works.
Submission is free, and all micro-chaps will be available for free to all.
