Preface
Welcome back! I know I’ve been gone for quite some time since my first article, however I had much going on with the virus, and getting settled here in Arizona for the very program that I’ll be talking about today.

This is going to be broken down into three parts over the next week and a half because it’s simply too much to put into one article. Hope you enjoy it! Email me if you guys have any specific questions that are not addressed here.

The Program — For those that are unaware, the airline industry in the United States is running out of good places to find moderately well-trained pilots. Depending on who you talk to, this issue is either just starting or is exceedingly disastrous, but still the general consensus is that this is a real issue. An issue that is being completely exacerbated by Coronavirus, even if it doesn't seem so at the moment.

In an effort to cope (prior to the onset of the pandemic,) several airlines have begun to construct pilot training programs based loosely on the European model of flight training. In which, the student pilot is sponsored by a particular airline for all of their flight training, and then has a secured “spot” with that airline after the training is completed.
