Theta Labs adds Jayne Kim as General Manager for Asia region
Theta Labs is excited to welcome Jayne Kim to the team as General Manager — Asia. Jayne is an experienced digital marketer and business development professional with experience from several startups and crypto companies, and will lead Theta’s marketing and business development efforts to drive Theta adoption in Asia. Jayne is based in Seoul, Korea and will help expand Theta Labs’ Seoul office.
After developing skills in online communication at the UN World Food Program, she joined the international PR agency Hill & Knowlton Strategies as a consultant to organize online campaigns for the UFC to bring the first UFC event to Korea. And she joined the organizing committee for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games to lead digital marketing initiatives collaborating with the online giants like Naver (largest local search engine) and KakaoTalk (top local messenger). She received a citation from the Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism for increasing national awareness.
Her passion for sports and eSports made her challenge herself by joining a VR production startup, where she was involved in the government-VC lead accelerator program. She then moved to the Swiss crypto wealth management project Swissborg where she worked on building brands and discovering partners.
Jayne has previously worked on a consulting basis for Theta project and was instrumental in Theta partnerships like GameTalkTalk and BlockDown. We’re excite for Jayne to lead Theta Asia efforts going forward, and serve as a key liaison for Theta partners in the region such as Samsung and Klaytn. Welcome to the team Jayne!
