August Highlights
- Theta Token is listed on Bithumb, the largest Korean crypto exchange
- Theta Head of Strategy Wes Levitt presented a keynote “Blockchain Adoption in Real World: Hype vs. Reality” at Blockfesta conference in Seoul (video coming soon!)
- Theta, NKN, and IoTex come together for a meetup and panel at Starfish Blockchain Community in San Francisco:
- Phase I of the Theta testnet was completed, and rewards for our top relayers will be announced in the next few days. Phase II is underway with an updated user interface and enhancements to streaming optimization.
- The Theta team continues to prototype with SamsungVR, and is working on a public demo to come soon! Stay tuned for details to be released.
- Bitmovio, a a video entertainment marketplace built on the Theta protocol, pitched their project at Play Labs held at MIT Game Lab. Bitmovio is currently raising their seed round financing and hiring a CTO (apply here!)
