Yooshim (Karen) Huh, Senior Vice President of CJ Hello, to join Theta as a Strategic Advisor

Theta Labs is proud to welcome Yooshim (Karen) Huh, SVP of the CJ Hello media platform, to join the Theta project as a strategic advisor for the media sector.

Karen joined CJ Hello, a media subsidiary of the $25B Korean conglomerate CJ Group, earlier this year to spearhead their internet streaming media services business. She leads CJ Hello’s online offerings of top Korean networks, movies, sports, animations and apps.

Prior to joining CJ Hello, Karen was founder and CEO of Across, a strategy consulting and executive advisory company in the media & technology space. Before founding Across, she gained significant experience in the media space at Google, where she served as Sr. Business Development Manager of YouTube Korea and headed TV/movie/news & sports content partnerships, and Naver, where she oversaw digital content business, strategic partnerships and content acquisitions. Karen began her career at LG Uplus, where she managed the online content business and launched LG’s paid Video-on-Demand service for the first time in Korea.
