If you tried to read Mary Meeker’s powerpoint presentation on 2016's Internet Trends but got overwhelmed, you are not alone. It is a BEAST. As I was reading it, I started wondering if it was all a joke — perhaps it had to be 216 slides because this is the year 2016. So next year’s deck will be 217 slides long. And why is Kleiner publishing 2016 Internet Trends in June, when 2016 is halfway over? Who cares about what’s trending for Internet? The only trend you’ll see is the election, then the inauguration, and then Christmas. But I digress. Ahem.
