Silver Surfer: Parable — A Review

I’ve been meaning to review a Moebius comic for a long time. Moebius, real name Jean Giraud, was a French artist who’s considered one of the greats in comics and is still the inspiration for a good chunk of sci-fi movies and TV. I was going to go the typical route and review The Incal, a book he did with writer Alejandro Jodorowsky that’s basically Europe’s Watchmen in regards to popularity. Unfortunately, it’s still sitting on my bookshelf, unread and gathering dust. So, unfortunately, I can’t review it at this time.

My second idea was to review his western series Blueberry, which started publication back in the 60s. I like westerns so I decided to give it a go. That is, I was going to until I looked it up on Amazon and Ebay and immediately went “AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!” So, we’re not going to look at that one either.

Instead, I’m going to review a comic that apparently introduced American comic readers to his art and is within my budget.
