Let’s admit it…it was a mixed bag of a fortnight— Lucie’s passing, the excitement of #AWP18….

Yet, poetry was there for us, again.

Always a pleasure to connect poetry lovers to established and upcoming poets; to bring them along with me as I discover new works or explore perennial favourites.

The quality of poetry being written in this decade trumps anything I read in Grad school nearly 15 years ago. If you are not convinced, listen to the readings below.

Yet. The sad truth remains. The great Lucie Brock-Broido is not with us. Maybe we will drown in her words for a while to bury our grief.
