We have created a home for aspiring and professional writers to connect and share their beautiful stories. Yes, I am talking about “The Writer’s Nook.”
About The Writer’s Nook
The Writer’s Nook is a home for writers to connect with other communities and share their interesting stories and valuable insights on writing. We welcome all writer’s communities passionate about topics centred around writing. It could be from how to to personal journeys.
Purpose
We are dedicated to writing, and thus our purpose is:
- To connect the writer’s community to share their journey and mindful knowledge of writing.
- To help aspiring writers grow and improve as writers by consuming content shared by writers in publications.
- To provide the writers with a home for their voices to be heard.
Submission Guidelines and Rules for The Writer’s Nook
We are happy for your interest in contributing to The Writer’s Nook! We are excited to see your contribution and how you add value to our readers. Before you submit your work, please take a moment to review our guidelines and rules.
1. Originality
We only accept original content that has not been previously published elsewhere, including on personal blogs or other platforms. We value fresh perspectives and unique insights.
2. Relevance
Submissions should align with our focus on writing-related topics. Whether it’s tips on craft, personal anecdotes about your writing journey, or discussions on the writing process, we’re eager to hear from you. However, please refrain from submitting pieces unrelated to writing.
3. Quality
We strive for excellence in every piece we publish. Please ensure your submission is well-written, thoroughly edited for grammar and spelling, and presents ideas clearly and engagingly.
4. Length
While we don’t have strict word count limits, we generally prefer submissions between 500 to1500 words. However, we value quality over quantity, so feel free to exceed this range if your piece warrants it.
5. Formatting
You can publish your draft or published story, but make sure the story’s published time is at most 7 days.
6. Attribution
If your submission includes quotes, references, or external sources, please provide proper attribution and citations where necessary.
7. Images
If you include images or graphics in your submission, ensure you have the right to use them and provide appropriate credits.
8. Respect and Diversity
We welcome diverse perspectives and voices. Please ensure your submission is respectful and inclusive of all individuals, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion, or background.
9. Response Time
We aim to review submissions promptly and will do our best to provide timely feedback. However, due to the volume of submissions we receive, response times may vary.
10. Medium Rules and Policies
Each piece should be strictly per Medium Rules and Policies. Before submitting your work, understand and acknowledge the Medium Rules.
