Cracks

The first note is always the loudest.

Gradually the shell starts to crack,
but she has so many layers which
she shall reveal to you little by little
to the very depth of her.

And then pretentiousness starts to fade,
exposing flesh and wounds;
and letting herself be vulnerably seen.

Part of her that was
missing and hidden,
that remained unknown to her,
shall grow and reveal soon.

She cracks only to
become whole again.
