Ocean of Secrets

Sometimes,
emotions sink to the bottom,
without you even noticing.

But most of the time,
you watch them flow;
you watch them closely.

You taste, you touch, you listen.
You hold them close to your heart,
and examine them inch by inch.

And just before they begin
to float back to the surface,
you choose to bury them again,
never letting them show.
