Playing with Fire

I touched the fire
and I felt the burn
but in my dreams,
there’s one thing
I learned;

to bear the pain
of the burning ember,
and to bear the heat,
never surrender.

Just touch
the flaming torch.
Do not mind the pain,
and scorch.

Tame the monster,
and win the duel.
Let the courage
be your fuel.

Just play with the fire;
Like walking
through the wire,
risking your body,
your skin, just to tame
the dragons from within.

Conquering your darkest fears,
who’ve been enslaving you
for thousand years is like
dancing on the brink;

when you fall,
you either float
or you sink.
