Another Xbox Game Pass tease has come our way credit to the German Xbox Twitter and later confirmed by the official Xbox Game Pass twitter. First day of 2021 they tweeted that there new year resolution:

Xbox Game Pass on Twitter: “Our New Year’s Resolution is to stop sharing confidential emails from Melissa McGamepass with the public because it’s against the rules and maybe even the law” / Twitter

But the same day the German Xbox twitter account posted:

Xbox DACH on Twitter: “Auch 2021 ist auf Melissa verlass! https://t.co/AkXE3ZcipD" / Twitter

The Xbox Game Pass twitter was then kind enough to translate the tweet in English:

The email talks about the excitement behind the launch of The Medium day one on Game pass and then goes on to talk about remembering the time when they added “REDACTED” and everyone was excited but then everyone was sad when it left. Well, it’s officially coming back!!! We think its Red Dead Redemption 2 that’s coming back. First it was on Game Pass for a really short duration and everyone was sad when it left. then comes the recent push for Red Dead online from Rockstar Games. They recently released a standalone version of Red Dead online which is currently on sale for $4.99

Winner of over 175 Game of the Year Awards Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of honor and loyalty at the dawn of the modern age. Red Dead Redemption 2 also includes free access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online, where players take on an array of roles to carve their own unique path on the frontier as they track wanted criminals as a Bounty Hunter, create a business as a Trader, unearth exotic treasures as a Collector or run an underground distillery as a Moonshiner and much more. Even though Red Dead Redemption 2 has had over 250 perfect scores, lots of gamers feel that Red Dead online has been a miss and it has failed to garner the same hype and interest as GTA online. We have seen other games like No Mans Sky get a boost of over one million players when added to Game Pass and Red Dead online might be shooting for the same to build a community of enthusiastic gamers.

The only other game that might make some sense of being added back would be Fallout 4 which ties in nicely with the Bethesda acquisition. Which game do you think is coming back, let us know ….
