Our team at Thiken is about as “Austin” as they come. Except, for one thing. None of us are actually from Austin.
Although our families weren’t here when Stephen F. Austin took his first dip in Barton Springs Pool, and we weren’t here when Dell became the titan that transformed this sleepy Texas town into a global tech hub, we got here as soon as we could. And once we arrived, we opened up shop as a digital product studio truly focused on transforming unique concepts into working realities. Now, we’re making our own history, changing the digital landscape, and redefining what it means to be made in Austin.
Like so many other entrepreneurs, designers, makers, and thinkers, Austin’s creative freedom attracted us to this city. But ultimately, it’s Austin’s future and the opportunity to build a world-class studio here that makes us stay.
This city is a cultural and creative hotbed where scenes collide. Just take a look at any food truck line downtown. You’ll find tech CEOs and artists alike waiting to get breakfast tacos.
And that melting pot is exactly what drew our team here in the first place. As creatives, we feed off the energy that Austin radiates; the art scene, the music, the performers, the easy-going vibes. But as technologists, we crave the fast-paced and innovative scene fueled by local tech incubators and established tech giants.
At the core of Thiken’s digital product studio, is strategy and design from a culture of innovation. While we have a wide array of clients, the concepts we create, and the products we help launch all have one thing in common. They are all made in Austin.
Since 2015, our team at Thiken has been ideating, designing, coding, and helping products grow. Looking outside of our office windows, you can see Google’s new building under construction, and a handful of eclectic downtown music venues. The perfect blend. And, as our group of self-proclaimed misfits sits down to work, we bring that unique intersection of technological sophistication and unapologetic creativity into every project we take on.
We help startups and big brands turn their simple ideas into meaningful stories. Then, we turn those stories into usable, beautiful, products.
