THIKEN @ SXSW
It’s March and yes it’s the time of the year where thousands of people flock into Austin city for South by Southwest aka SXSW. An annual mixture of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas.
For many years SXSW Interactive has captivated us and fascinated us on how it brought the techies, entrepreneurs, and other crazy ones together with its collection of events and parties. It can be powerful and you may be surprised by the number of choices, coz so many people travel from all over the world and US to Austin Texas to show off their inventions and their work. SXSW is also known to be one of the best conferences for a small business owner to attend.
This year our team at Thiken traveled to Austin to launch Unnanu Pro at the SX. We were at many events and places designed to share new ideas and innovations by techies, entrepreneurs, and creative thinkers. Thiken and the team Unnanu showcased the Unnanu Pro at SXSW Startup spotlight. An event hosted in the heart of Startup Village, to shine a light on fresh startups. We were also at the Job Market designed to inspire and connect professionals from around the world with the SXSW Job Market and the trade show which also highlights the integrations and overlaps between SXSW’s converging industries, hosting a diverse range of forward-thinking exhibitors ranging from promising startups to established industry leaders.
Being one of the challenging projects for our client, got to admit that we were a bit nervous as it was the first major event where we were showcasing our Unnanu Pro app. Speaking of Unnanu Pro, it’s an app designed by Thiken for both the companies and job seekers. The main purpose of Unnanu is to make the job finding and recruiting process less painful. So many companies, as well as job seekers, tested out Unnanu Pro at SXSW. As more and more people tested our Unnanu app the feedbacks were overwhelmingly positive.
We did meet many interesting individuals throughout the SX event, as a matter of fact we also did make a video where the some of the startups at the SXSW made their pitches, which we will be releasing soon on our official YouTube channel.
If you were in Austin and did have a chance to attend SX, we are certain that you were dazzled by the ultimate showdowns of various companies and startups. Thiken did make an awesome impression at the SX this year and yes we are definitely planning to make a better BANG!!! At the next SXSW.
