I Found My Friend’s Body Today

I was not prepared for any of this.

I found my friend’s body today. He was in the bathtub — he took sleeping pills after dealing with a bad breakup. He had sent a mass text beforehand — it read simply “see you space cowboy,” a reference to an anime he liked, and linked to the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony song “Crossroads.”
