How to hug when you aren’t supposed to touch
My kids have been desperate to hug their grandparents but we’ve been hesitant since they resumed school. I mentioned this to a friend on the phone and she shared this sweet and comforting article from The Times, which also has lovely illustrations.
Update: my mother has been trying these techniques though she has inadvertently wrapped her hands around the kids’ faces when kissing their heads from behind, which I encouraged her not to do! 😶
