ThingsCon is a global community of practitioners as well as an event network with a simple, yet ambitious goal: To foster the creation of a human-centric and responsible Internet of Things (IoT).

We see it as part of this mission to highlight, amplify and promote projects and their makers who do great work in this field. From inspiring talks to best practices to smart applications that improve lives: This channel serves to collect and share the things and people that make strive for a better, human-centric and respectful IoT.

Our contributors come from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds. They are designers, developers, makers, policy makers, consumer rights activists, researchers and entrepreneurs.

What they have in common is that all of them make a valuable contribution that goes above and beyond: These are the creators of the IoT we want to live with.
