Having being on both sides of the startup equation, in my opinion strong guidance and mentorship for founders and to be quite frank for all of the first round employees is so crucial.

The New Zealand SmartCamp event, hosted by IBM is designed to develop an early stage ecosystem to support emerging innovation-led companies on their journey to become leading brands in their own right.

The New Zealand Smart Camp is a great way of creating an entrepreneurial advantage and supercharging your startup. SmartCamp participants get to take advantage of networking with other startups, entrepreneurs like themselves and importantly receive mentoring from industry experts and introductions to IBM’s global innovation ecosystem including venture capitalists.

I’ve tweeted about this many times and encourage you to sign up.
