Becoming an Umbraco Certified Gold Partner

GrowCreate chose to become an Umbraco Certified Gold Partner after taking three of our team to the Umbraco Codegarden conference in Copenhagen back in 2014.

We were there to assess whether we wanted our agency to become an Umbraco Gold Partner, one of 11 in the UK and 36 globally in 2014. We had been Umbraco developers for a number of years already so our experience as a specialist Umbraco agency developing and supporting websites for global clients really tied into our desire to commit to Umbraco by supporting the HQ and the Umbraco core.

Being Umbraco

At GrowCreate, Umbraco is presently the only CMS we work with and as an open-source solution is a really good fit for our clients needs. It is reliable, mature and has a friendly interface for content editors.

All this and with Theo Paraskevopoulos a regular speaker at Umbraco Events from Codegarden and DUUG to the UK Umbraco Festival, becoming an Umbraco Gold Partner just made sense.

What does being an Umbraco Gold Partner mean for our clients?

Theo and I were in a meeting and we were asked what working with a Gold Partner meant for them. I wasn’t sure that we answered the question fully, so here goes:
