How often do you go out and meet new people? You never know how your life will improve if you begin to network.
Today I got the challenge to show up unarranged at offices and sell tickets to a networking event.
It’s one thing to have arranged meetings because it makes you more secure. Yet, to show up unarranged can create a lot of different scenarios, which makes it really exciting!
Sweden
Most people in Sweden don’t do it this way anymore, which made our team stand out today. My colleague and I started out with small and medium sized businesses. Most of the conversations went well!
Afterward, we decided to go to the most luxurious part of Stockholm and do this as well. We realized what wealth felt like.
We had never been around this kind of offices before, and it felt powerful. You could really feel the vibe of power, wealth, and competence. It made us really excited and we went for it.
Time
Here you could feel how precious people was with their time. They wanted to know as fast as possible what is was about, and the purpose of our visit. As soon as we’d let them know, the conversation began.
The results went over my expectations and we got some leads. Thanks to going outside my comfort zone I meet some really interesting people!
Your challenge
The quality of your life depends on your relationships. Tomorrow you get the challenge to ask a stranger out for a coffee. Think about the 5-secound rule and just ask!
