The Most Important Thing When Microdosing

Microdosing is a powerful way to create shifts in performance, mood, focus and creativity.

It’s not complete magic, however (though it can definitely bring magic!). We have to meet the medicine and work with it. We have to make the changes it uncovers and flow with our new energy.

For this reason intention is the most important aspect of microdosing.

Microdosing releases and shifts physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of ourselves.

With an intention we know how to channel that energy. We come back to our intention to guide our actions.

And if you have been doing healing work for a while you know that medicines often take us on surprising journeys — ones that don’t appear to be about our intentions until the wisdom becomes clear.

For example, in the current protocol I am working with my intention was to shift some of my habits around food that don’t reflect who I am inside.

About a week into the protocol tears began to flow. I am feeling loss and grieving actively.

Without intention I might say this is a bad result.

With the intention of eating nourishing food I can see that this grief is beneath the choices in how I eat. I support myself in releasing these emotions and caring for myself in other ways than cheese pizza :-). I come to this realization through reflection and connecting with my intuition — it resonates — I know it is true.

Thank you to this medicine for opening my heart and allowing me to flow more fully with life.

If you are considering microdosing — think about your intention.

Why are you interested in microdosing?

What would you like to shift in yourself?

What would be a good outcome of microdosing for you?

Intentions are about what we want to create. They are not supposed to be about fixing yourself. Intentions should be made in a container of self-compassion. I eat cheese pizza because there is sadness I can’t bear. And I love myself from beginning to end in that journey. And at the same time — I want to support my grieving in ways that increase my energy and health. So my intention is to make these shifts.

Without an intention microdosing is an experience or a habit. With intention microdosing is a creative act. The difference between the two approaches is huge — I am amazed every day at how deeply these medicines respond to us when we step up and ask.

When you have your intention shower love upon your current self and everything that has happened to bring to you this point.

You are ready to step into into a new relationship with yourself.
