Workflow: Getting Medium Tags

If you know anything about me, it’s that I love automating things. I specifically love to automate things on iOS. Recently there was the question asked, “What is the best way for us to find tags for our Medium Articles?” So I took it upon myself to find a way to easily automate and find a way to save tags from Medium by making a simple Workflow. Workflow for iOS is an app that was recently acquired by Apple it is an automation tool for iOS.

When run, this Workflow will get you the tags from a Medium Article, I took screenshots to demonstrate the process. In order for you to run the Workflow, you will need to download the Workflow App on iTunes App Store. As soon as you have downloaded the app and loaded the Workflow within the app, you are about ready to go. (Sidenote: This only works on iOS.There is not a Workflow App for Android.)

You are more than welcome download the Workflow and try it yourself.

Workflow Link: Medium Tags

Here's how to Run the Workflow!1. Open Medium2. Find an article that sounds interesting to you and that is in the same category as the article you'll be writing.3. Click the share sheet as if you were going to send this to someone. Tap Run Workflow so that it will send the URL to Workflow.4. Tap the "Medium Tags" Workflow and let Workflow do it's thing.5. The tags will now be saved to your native iOS Notes Application. You can change this if you would like to.

Explanation — How it really works

I hope that you are able to find use for this. Happy Automating!
