Our views, experiences and thoughts on agile, design thinking, workplace culture, software engineering. To name a few.
Here I am, writing my first blog post to introduce you to Thinking Forward. A publication that is the evolution of conversations you will find us having each and every day. Passionate conversations that get us excited by helping us expand our thinking. The fact of the matter is that we love learning, and we want to learn more. After some discussion we decided the best way to go about that was to start sharing what we were doing and asking people to join the discussion. It’s not all about us though. We thought it was time we contribute back to the community that has always been there to help us. Nothing would make us happier than if something we shared helped someone else. That’s it.
Who are we anyway?
We are a bunch of passionate people that love what we do. A bunch of agile coaches, software engineers, product managers, innovation experts and designers. The main passion we share is that we are eager to find better ways to do what we do, challenge the status quo, and learn new things. Above all, we align on the ideal of creating a workplace where people can bring their whole self to work and have fun.
Why you should follow us on Medium
As part of our commitment to learning we are always looking out for new and interesting approaches and content. We also love sharing. Over the past couple of months we realised that when we found stuff worth sharing it was usually on Medium. Once we realised this the decision to use Medium was obvious. We want to be where progressive organisations and thought leaders are. And we would like to think we are one of them.
I hope you like the topics we will be writing about. We are looking forward to sharing our successes, failures, learnings, ideas, experiments — no matter how crazy they might seem.
We don’t want this to be a one way conversation. Our intent is to start conversations on topics that we are passionate about. Nothing would please us more than if those conversations engaged people that share the same interests or passion. We welcome those that may have a different point of view or perspective. We understand that growth comes from hearing from people who think differently than us. In a nutshell. This is about sharing, learning and contributing to creating better organisations.
