1st November 2016 brings about our inaugural Thinking Digital Women and we can’t wait.

Women have always played a crucial part in the line-up’s for previous events, however we wanted to take this opportunity to really shine a light on the inspiring contributions made by women to the fields of science, technology, innovation, engineering and entrepreneurship across the globe. Our speakers will primarily be women but not exclusively so.

Come to #TDW16 for FREE?

If you’d like a chance to come along to the event completely free of charge you can enter our Emerging Talent Fund competiton. It’s super easy to enter, just head to THIS FORM and tell us what inspires you.

Who is going to be there?

So far we’ve announced a few of the speakers due to be gracing the Northern Stage at Newcastle University.

From actual rocket scientists to robot humanists we’ll be covering it all. We are lucky to have ‘stand up scientist’ Emer Maguire co-hosting the event having previously spoke at a Thinking Digital event.

Workshops

As usual we have some fantastic workshops planned for the morning of the event. From learning more about the sensors around us (and how they can be used to snoop) to learning how primary school children are using code and robotics (because why should they have all the fun).

Find out more about our workshops here.

There are extremley limited places left so hurry if you want to be part of thie Thinking Digital first — book now.
